Synopsis - Set around Sambhar Lake in Rajasthan, the film moves through landscapes of salt, water, memory and migration. Following the annual arrival of Kurjan (Demoiselle Cranes), it explores the lake's ecological and cultural histories, from ancient human traces and folk memories to the mass bird mortality of November 2019. Moving between the visible and invisible, the film reflects on disappearance, transformation and the mysterious continuities between human and more-than-human worlds.
